  • Archery

    Have a go at the traditional skill of Archery! Develop the motor and safety awareness skills of your group by using our archery targets and equipment to experience the sport of kings.

  • Underground mine

    Experience the history of the Goldfields by visiting our underground mine. This mine provides a unique experience for all those that venture into its depths.

  • Billy Carts

    Time to Race! Pit your group against each other in a grand prix around the camp to see who is fastest.

  • Nature Walks

    Pax Hill is located on a large block within a state forest so is surrounded by nature. Get out and experience it while you are here with a nature walk along our assigned paths.

  • Bush Cooking

    No Uber Eats out here. Experience raw cooking at its best, Damper, Billy Tea, Pot Roast - use our fire pits to cook up a storm for your group.

  • Outdoor Games

    Use our basketball, volleyball courts, our open spaces and various pieces of sporting equipment such as football, soccer balls to keep the fun rolling.

  • Abseiling

    Take the challenge! Group bookings are available for our abseiling wall with qualified instructors.

  • Ballarat Scout Water Activity Centre

    The centre is located on Lake Wendouree in the centre of Ballarat, around 10 minutes from Pax Hill.

Indoor Activities

Our indoor spaces can be configured for almost any need. So no matter what the Ballarat weather throws at us, there is always room for a group to spread out and have a good time. All large indoor spaces are equipped with AV equipment and WIFI.
